Well, tell us who you really are, who is Bonhle Mabaso? where do you come from?
Becoming Miss Little Community at the age of 12 poured the fuel to the already burning desire and passion to become like her aunties, Didy then got so much focused on the modeling career and she never looked back. "I joined one pageant "Miss Little Community" and yehhhh !!!I became a Queen...".
When kids win at an early age, that builds their self-confidence, it natures them into future brave adults who know they are destined to succeed. Such individuals are unstoppable when they go after their life goals, they normally burn the bridges to have one option, which is to make it to their target no matter how hard the journey can get. Didy's courage was installed into her mindset at an early age and credit goes to her Mother and her Grandmother, two responsible African women who perfectly did their job.
What Are Some Of The Things That You Recorded In Your Diary About Your Modeling Career?
"Dreams do come true but not exactly the way we wanted but God always gives us something close to what we always dreamt of or asked for...... noted so many things but I would love to share one beautiful moment when my charity projects went so well... helping and seeing people smiling because of what you did for them was sooo great ..." Miss Teen Heritage Lesotho said.
Giving back to the community is a sign of appreciation and self love, wanting to inspire others into believing they too can make what you are doing for them. This shows that Bonhle's family is generous loving family, and for that it will always raise stars. Who you are in your twenties is what you have been fed in your mind from the age of 1to 7, 8 to 14 is the fixing stage in case you were fed the wrong info, otherwise, you become that what you were fed - at least repetition method can change that in your old age.
Bonhle Mabaso
Bonhle Didy Mabaso started a modeling school in 2018 and she taught people how to model the right way, she gave the basics of modeling and actually natured them into professional models who are ready to take over the world. Unfortunately the school had to closed, this is how Bonhle explained the matter, "The modeling school was closed in 2019 because I was struggling to find someone to help me to train the kids and on the other hand I had to focus on school work ,the modeling school still closed but am planning to re-open after this pandemic...and we coming bigger and better because my intentions are to make it the best modeling school in the country that takes out better outcomes of models and it's not only going to focus on modeling it's also going to be a gathering of young boys and girls who offers a helping hand to chance people lives..."
You Are So Passionate About And Confident, What Keeps You Motivated In Your Modeling Career?
"what keeps me motivated in the modeling career is that to me modeling creates a good sense of style, adaptability of a positive attitude, communication skills, ability to look good at all times and outstanding facial projections..."
The Beauty Queen has just completed her diploma in Tourism Management at Lerotholi Polytechnic this year 2020. However, she said now she has graduated her focus is going to be in her modeling career and she plans to reopen her school. "Now that am a graduate am going to invest more of my time in modeling because I feel like there are lots of young beings who needs my help to become good models one day so am definitely not putting modeling aside." She said.
In many industries, there are always people who take advantage of young acts, or rather say talented people who might want to cooperate with them. In Lesotho there are stories of government officials misusing the country's funds, and a lot more corruption stories, even in other countries. The modeling industry is no exception, as beautiful as she is, Bonhle couldn't have walked a smooth journey since she was young to date. Didy met some of the corrupted men who think they could abuse women through helping them and creating non existing debts. "Oh yeah I have met lot of corrupt men especially on times a person desperately needs a sponsors
But I told myself that no matter what happens I won't do anything stupid or makes decisions that I would regret in a future ntseke shebile on keeping my diginity...." Mabaso said.
Being Miss Universe Diversity is such an inspiration not only to Bonhle but to people around her, "...and I have realized that it's not only by providing my intelligence, talent and pleasing personality as a tittle holder is showing a huge moral of responsibility and to maintain a responsible character" Covid-19 caused a lot of problems to many and to Bonhle, planned events had to be cancelled. "My plan for this year was to host a big pageant Miss Berea and re-opening my school but on the other hand this pandemic kinda help me to finish school so that I can focus more on doing what I wanted to achieve this year in modeling". Didy is so excited now that gigs are open that only means more money will be popping in the industry to her, Pageants will be hosted and young girls and boys would get to continue with their journey.
