Kabza De Small... Lesotho ~ I am The King Of Amapiano - Sweet & Dust

On the 27th of November 1992, Mpumalanga celebrated the star that shot across the province in the early hours.

Mpumalanga is a Zulu name that means 'a place where the sun rises', and on that day, it rose with drums and percussions, tears of joy and a dance now known as Amapiano dance.

The celebration was due to the self-proclaimed Amapiano king's birth, Kabelo Petrus Motha - better known by his stage name Kabza De Small. After his birth at a very young age, Kabelo then moved to Pretoria where he grew up and developed passion for music.

Kabza De Small started his music career in 2009 Pretoria South Africa, as a Disk Jockey and a Record Producer, now he also writes songs and is a performing artiste.

His focus was on the genres Afro-Fused House and EDM. Motha pushed through all those years and it was only in 2016 when he dropped his debut album titled 'Avenue Sounds', under the label House Afrika Records. The album had hit records like Ambele, Shaya and Umshove among others, apparently these are the songs that gathered Kabza thousands of fans around South Africa and beyond. All the glory began at Rubza's Place in Alexandra (the place claimed as the origin of the Amapiano genre ).

A 28 year old dropped a masterpiece called 'Scorpion Kings' in which he showed his collaborative character. Kabza had Azikhuzeki hitmaker on Scorpion Kings, DJ Maphorisa, also on the album was Samthing Soweto,Virgo Deep, Kaybe Sax, Nokoazi
